How much longer are you going to have to wear that cast boot?

I can do upside down chocolate moo things!
It hurts more when I am walking on it and less if I can stay off it, but the boot helps. I'm also using a cane, but I will have to use crutches for at least eight weeks after the surgery if the doctor repairs the ATFL.Coming down stairs is particularly painful if I'm not wearing the boot, so of course I had to do that a lot for physical therapy to see if it would get better. It never did.
