I have a lamp hanging, from the ceiling/here above 'me' messy table, which has an energy saving bulb (of 10W) in it. Oooh?  :orly: Wow, you might think.. but what I wanted to share (hic et nunc) is that the inside of the armature is spray painted a warm yellowy-orange colour and the light that it provides is like the colours seen at some sunsets. Quite nice.. and on a grey day as this it's on and ja, I'd say it kind of always lifts my mood a little.

Someone is snoring very loudly, next door.

English "Jew" is not cognate with Swedish/German "Jude", Latin "iudaeus" etc. "Jew" is an old English word for "fraudster".

Yes, express concern in a tactful way and suggest the neighbor see his doctor
and be tested for sleep apnea.  You could be doing him a great favor!

Ost, the Swedish word for "cheese", is cognate with Latin ius, that means "justice". The word originally meant "purity".

"Coffee" is feminine in Arabic, from which it comes, masculine in Italian and German and neuter in Swedish. In Latin it would probably either have been neuter coffeum or feminine cafea  :nerdy:

Well, the first two weeks of her pregnancy, she wasn't pregnant yet, so, you could have been the result of a St. Nic. surprise, poem and all.  :2thumbsup:

And it's ten months, not nine. ;)

It is? Since when?

Well, I talked to my mother about 'this' yesterday and she was like.. 'Did you post that?'

Um, jah.. but but but, she also said I was more or less 'on time'.

Plus  :bounce:  I was breastfed till I turned 14 y/o too..

Since always.  40 weeks / 4 weeks per month = 10 (lunar) months. (One still isn't technically pregnant during those first two weeks)

Well, fine.. but here in Holland we say or count the time a woman is pregnant in (calendar) months. Probably counting in weeks is more accurate.

Um, I merely tried, not that seriously, post the fact my parents did a bit of bedroom dancing around these days (of calendar) 43 years ago. In weeks.. it remains more or less the same.
