One of my grandfathers lied about his age and joined the army during WW1. He was in an artillery unit in France. One of my great uncles was an officer during WW1 and was put in charge of an all black army unit that never went to France they just stayed in Louisiana and trained.

One of my great uncles was an officer during WW1 and was put in charge of an all black army unit that never went to France they just stayed in Louisiana and trained. Both my parents (long before they met) and both of my mother's brothers were in the military. Sometimes I wish I had served my country too.
I tried to join the army but failed the psych test. I wonder why?
Watching some nature program on my telly I just heard Attenborough say that red kangaroos (in top gear) are faster than race horses. Useless facto maybe but it got me thinking.. 'shabbadabbadoo, those kangaroos are pretty fast'.
