I can't see in 3D.
Why not?
Was born with a squint (strabismus), had lots of operations that failed to fully correct it and resulted in me using my right eye way more than the left (called amblyopia). I had to wear a patch over my right eye when I was little to make me use my left eye more or else I would have gone blind in it. So I didn't end up developing stereo vision like people normally do. Everything looks flat but I am used to it as I don't know any different.

I talked about this in my Sensory Abilities and Disabilities class and the others were fascinated by it. I got asked heaps of questions about it. :paperbag:

Jack is now curious about lutra's useless bacterial fact.

Really? But it's undoable to unlearn this though.. (suit self)

It was this I wrote in the early morning of the current day..

As, 'Flora' needs fungi to properly function (for seeds to develop they need interaction with some particular form of fungi/later on too), 'Fauna', us man included of course, needs bacteria to properly function also. No kid ya. Your bowel system, to properly work, needs the help of millions of them.

Um, useless fact here maybe is.. that this is being dropped here® by an OCD-ish/a bit germ-phobic chap. Well, leaning towards that earlier in life.  :zoinks:

When I was really young, a lot of my autism-related behaviours were thought to be due to my eye problems. I got taken to doctors about it and that is what they said. Did anything like this happen to you?

No, not that I can remember. This was way before anyone knew anything about autism, though. I was considered to be a weird kid, though. They did lots of tests because they couldn't figure me out.

Looking at diatoms through a microscope for hours causes eyestrain even when using a very good microscope

Eh, it is still a fact. The only bit I know is diatoms. I know they are teeny tiny as parts said.
