The gloomy names I find amusing. Like the Wrecks-way, Accident-road, and that Road of disgrace. Why give roads a name like that?

Near my parents there is the "Way of pleasant opportunity". And yes, there are quite some places to hide in the green there.  :eyelash:

I just ate a pear and after that I shared the remains of it with the blackbirds in my garden. Um, and an extra free of charge useless facto also is, that they tend to love little pieces of pears but are a bit nonchalant about it at the moment. (methinks in Spring they have enough food to be found already)

Some Fiestaware made before the 70's had Uranium compounds in the glaze are radioactive :parts:  I of course have a plate that at times pegs the meter on my Geiger counter at 10 MREM/hour  :green:

Yes I am aware of the Mollies getting pregnant, I had a mollie named after a male LOTOR character, and I thought it was "he" and she got pregnant with two babies. How was I suppose to know when a Mollie named after Orlando Bloom was going to get pregnant. I'll die laughing if I have to  :lol:

Wood is hygroscopic. :orly: It reacts on the humidity of the air around it. High humidity means the wood will expend a bit due to it absorbing moist from the air. Dry air will cause the wood to shrink a bit due to the piece of wood will give off moisture.
