They have very liberal open carry laws there.  My brother went out to hunt elk and wore a 45 almost the entire time there, in stores restaurants everywhere he said it felt very strange and did it mostly just because he could

 I'd love to live someplace where I could wear a .45 all over town!  That sounds like lots of fun!   

You can do that in Vermont, for example. And no waiting period or anything. In Europe only Switzerland and the Czech Republic have a RTC at all, and the Czech Republic demand that you have a license for it.

 In Sweden there is no RTC and in the UK there isn't even a right to own a .45 at all.
