The closest Waffle House to my house is 169miles :'(

You have my sympathy.  I only have to travel about 12 miles.  When I was a child and we traveled between Houston and New Orleans my parents would never stop at Stuckeys (maybe once or twice in an emergency).  When I started driving I made damn sure I stopped at every Stuckeys I could.  Now that Stuckeys are no more, we stop at Waffle House when we travel.  The menu covers all meals and the cooking is fairly consistent.

I've heard some felines (individuals, not breeds) are not affected by catnip at all.  Is that true?   :orly:

No idea. I could see it, though.

We don't have waffle houses in Sweden.

We do have a tradition during the easter week, that on thursday the kids dress up as påskkärringar (easterbitches, roughly translated) wich looks like kind little red-cheaked witches on brooms and they go from house to house giving out badly painted easter cards and getting candy in return.

I'm sure there are similar traditions in the other nordiv countries....?

Yes.  It is similar in activity to marijuana, just specific to feline neurochemistry.  For some individuals nothing happens.

That looks like a nice mountain bike in good condition, but 345 Euros sounds kind of expensive.  How much did you offer?

€274 I've offered for the bike (which is almost $400). Via email he says he wants €295. Thinking about if I should check the bike out and maybe go for it when it looks/rides OK.

You're really not that far apart on the price, just €21.  I think that if you want the bike, you need to check it out anyway.

Yep. (thanks) Well, going to shower now, get some groceries after that and write him an email back after dinner to set up a date to check the bike out. (€21 is about peanuts.. yes.. )

Um, really fancy long bike rides through nearby forest areas now.. (hee hee)

A VW "Beetle" is unexpectedly "thirsty"; its 1 litre engine craves about 25% more petrol than a 2.5 liter motor in a modern Volvo, that is almost twice as heavy and has at least twice as many horsepowers.
