They call those things "battered savs" in Australia, but I don't think the difference in name makes any difference to the flavour. :barf:

Not really the same thing. I like both but corn dogs are hard to come by around here.

Battered Savs or Frankfurt in batter is just regular batter usually sold in fish and chip shops.

... especially when they cut those things even more and skip the sticks.

I make corndogs by cutting them into short pieces and floating them in hot oil.

My wife and I shared large things today.  We had a two hour talk. We went beyond many of the things that we have spoken about in the past. She has admitted to having stalked my posts on  a dozen fora. When you see the "Lurker 'Dawg"  it is probably NOT me. I often pop in at odd times, posst a bit and disappear, the lurker is probably not me. It is most likely my wife. I have given her all my log-in info, so she can see for herself where I go when I need a rest from my own world. She says that she has never posted and will not EVER post in my name. OK -  I believes her. We went on.

I told her of the tme... She did not know this about me, but ... alas, due to my forum life she found out and asked for more details  ...

I shared details of the time when I tried to kill the guy who set up several roughians to gang rape me.  (she knew of the gang rape incident, but did not know that six tears later I tried to kill the guy in charge or that I had gone to his broken body after he had slammed into my trap and re-started the bleeding by jerking lose his ruined arm - then had a change of heart and called for an ambulance) I was only just becoming aware that I could defend myself when that whole gang rape thing happened, at fifteen. I was lucky enought o escape with only a bit of axle grease up my ass and the grease gun made a formidable weapon against six twenty year olds, determined to brutalize me.
 More things about my "hard"  times came forth.

I have been able to share things with her for the first time, today, many things that I have not been able to share with you electrons/faceless "friends."
Also the time I "ended"  my previpos relationship, by preventing by gun work a gang rape, slit throat and robbery of my ex-wife-to-be (old girlfirend I alsmost married)(hated me from that single instant, because I became her dad - who she already hated) by using a hidden pistol to make the bad guys  all go away.


... and the time I bashed in the head of the leader of a gang who were going to steal my fancy cameras in San Antonio... and the time I was state's witness to a drug murder ... and the time I smashed my car into a guy for shooting at me... and the time I pulled the knife out of the chest of one of my friends in a gang fight and plunged it into the throat of the guy who had stabbed him ... and the time I had given up fleeing to stand against two guys who had killed both my best dogs and set fire to my car ...

This has been a very motivating day and despite many surprises, she is still with me ...

I know that she knew she had a decent man, but I don't think that she knew that she had a man who was no longer totally green.

The fact that she left for work and kissed me deeply shows me that she has accepted the worst of me, along with the best.
