You can sponge paint a small terricota pot in less than one minute. Trust me I did it today to transplant my cacti.

Yes, but it takes about two weeks to sponge paint an entire bedroom with four colors and two layering depth-enhancing washes (which must dry completely) during the process.

It looks really cool though when you're done.

I think that it took me longer to sponge paint my daughter's bedroom with just two colors.

I've had a little more experience doing faux painting, though. Remember, I worked as a photographer for a large company and during the off season, I re-built literally dozens of photographic sets in six different locations, every single year.

An interesting but useless fact I learned whilst trawling Wikipedia.

Peter Davison, who played the fifth Doctor in Doctor Who, was and is the youngest to play the role, and when he reprised it in the mini-episode "Time Crash" (alongside David Tennant) he was older (at 56) than William Hartnell (at 55) when he first played the role of the first Doctor in "The Unearthly Child" serial.

I built a roll-around, self-contained cart that holds ALL my outdoor stereo gear today - the electronics part, anyway and there is room for expansion as necessary.  The speakers are still stacked up outside on the back deck, at least until snow threatens.
