I have learned a great deal of pool chemistry in the past couple of weeks, as it applies to the extremely "hard" Indiana water.

DVR time, pal.

No more worries about missing things once you are set up with one of those jobbies.

Even a boxed DVD recorder would help, now that blank DVD media is usually around a quarter per disk. I found TDK DVD+R media on clearance a couple of weeks ago for a dime per disk.

some bint called Daina Taimina came up with something called "hyberbolic crochet", which meant mathematicians were able to represent hyperbolic models easily and effectively.

ain't that just fab - crochet being used where conventional maths was failing to come up with anything which really worked.  ;D
