Max pressure is 3500 lbs.  One place I worked a guy took a few fingers off with one that shot hot tar on foundations

When I was in high school, the big competitive push at the carwash chains was the POWER in pounds per square inch at the nozzle, which was available for the customer after depositing a quarter.

There were several accidents where people were cut by the powerful stream of water and air. A few chains were held liable.There was even a distraught parent who was washing her little boys dirty feet and stripped the skin off of the tops of his toes.

Oh, the stupidity of the American push for greenbacks or in this case, Washington quarters instead of whole dollars.

Not sure what the nozzles are made of, but, it was pretty awesome at how neat and clean and precise the lettering or image was that they were cutting.
