Went out and paid to shoot at a public range, FUCK!! Spent almost thirty bucks for a half hour, FUCK
I allowed my son to shoot a 22LR semi-auto pistol (it was a really old Ruger Mark II) AND a 22LR semi-auto carbine (nothing else like it - a simple 10-22 Ruger - pretty much the best of the best until you get into serious target shooting) for his first time out.
Hard to say much, but he was happy and wants to do this again, soon.
I just used paper targets. What is he going to be like shooting a real rifle at a jug of painted water or something as similar to a human body. What is he going to feel when he experiences the raw power and the amazing array of diverse weapons his father owns?
We have begun to explore.
