I'm actually not banned from WP, which surprises me, since they usually ban me on moderated boards sooner or later.

The house where the café is is one of the very few houses that weren't destroyed in the 1806 fire  :)

The easternmost border river of Italy Proper during Augustus' reign was Arsia in the eastern part of the Istrian peninsula. As late as 1975 Italian nationalists claimed that their government was betraying Italy by ceding all of Istria but the city of Trieste to Yugoslavia.

Useless facto: Um, I'm not banned from WP also.. but I was never accepted (as a member/half a year ago) on a Dutch 'asperger' forum. Oh well, paranoid føckers..

Dog bite, tomorrow evening two weeks ago 'received', left a hard little bump on my middle finger (left hand). Thank Gaea the finger is fine again though.

When God creates Eve out of Adam's rib, Latin uses the word Virago, that literally means "(out) of man". "Man" is vir in Latin. Swedish and German invent feminine forms of the masculin form; maninna and Männin. English simply uses woman, although that word doesn't originally have a feminine connotation. In Old English both persons in a married couple were "women".
