Not only fictionalised, but completely invented the disorder too.  It annoyed me.  Have you seen the film?

Pope Sylvester II was the pope in the year 1000 and was a pretty interesting guy who promoted the study of science and mathematics.

It's about 2 1/2 years until the 100th anniversary of the beginning of World War One (28 July, 1914).

One of my grandfathers lied about his age and joined the army during WW1.  He was in an artillery unit in France.  One of my great uncles was an officer during WW1 and was put in charge of an all black army unit that never went to France they just stayed in Louisiana and trained.

I considered the Coast Guard when I was finishing up high school due to my interest in marine biology and oceanography  but went to college and studied it instead

I would surely have failed the physical, or been kicked out of basic training.  :autism:

Watching some nature program on my telly I just heard Attenborough say that red kangaroos (in top gear) are faster than race horses. Useless facto maybe but it got me thinking.. 'shabbadabbadoo, those kangaroos are pretty fast'.   :orly:

You can't ride them though, and the speed just gives them more momentum when their giant foot is flying towards your face :orly:

It's been said that Casanova ate more than 50 oysters a day (/some days).  :santa:

At one time oysters were so plentiful in London that they were regularly eaten by the poor.
