The moon, Daphnis is caught in one of Saturn's rings, tidally affected constantly by its proximity to Saturn. Since its orbit does not exactly match that of the rest of the ring, due to its mass, velocity, it interferes greatly with the free, locked mass of the ring and creates amazingly beautiful, mountainous regions within the ring where it is trapped. The "mountain ranges" come and go and change constantly in response to the elliptical orbit of Daphnis.
