The V2-rockets had a warhead with 975 kilos (about 1 short ton) of amatol, an explosive made by mixing TNT with ammonium nitrate. The fine thing with amatol is that even with 80% of ammonium nitrate it's almost as powerful as TNT itself, though TNT is much harder to produce, even commercially, than ammonium nitrate.

My useless fact for the day: The term "Aspie/s"....I hate it. For some reason it irritates the fuck out of me, hugely. Maybe it's because that is all they seem to use over at WP and it feels like a babyish term. Not sure...but it's irritating.

IIRC, it's from when Ascan called Dunc, P.I. odeon and some others "aspie elitists" back in 2006. It became the running joke when this place was new.

That's it.  He intended it as some kind of insult that they were "Aspie Elitists" and Intensity was a barely legal, completely unethical, den of iniquity for "Aspie Elitists."  I started the "Aspie Elite" custom title thread and invited everyone to sign up for a custom title that contained "Aspie Elite" as a sort of show of solidarity with these so-called "Aspie Elitists" and Dunc took his intended insult and put it on Intensity's front page.
