Those aren't as evil as long as tax is included in those prices. The reason they aren't as evil is you can just round them to 10 bucks, and you can just give them a a 10 or 20 dollar bill or whatever without getting a shit load of change back. You'll just get a few measly pennies. If they add tax to that though, you'll get at least 40 cents back. :(
