Very cool.  I built a LCD projector.  Its in our bedroom.  The screen isn't 3 meters, it's about two.  No seats either, we just lay in bed to watch it.

Not that hard really... a LCD monitor taken apart to just the glass, three lenses and one big damn light bulb.  :)
