They don't hurt my eyes. I don't have that sensory issue. I can't see the flickering in them like most of you can or hear the buzzing.

fluorescent lights make me anxious and ill. when i went to school i think the lights had a lot to do with my migraines.

Fluorescent light is especially bad in a room with blank, white walls, like waiting rooms and examining rooms in hospitals.

hospitals should have calming lights, like candle light or whatnot, and they would have insence(sp???) burning and new age music...
