Geometry: the hearts will be on two different sides. Fire through the medulla area shoulder to shoulder.

Physics: not enough gun for that, except in the movies. Borrow my 300 Mag and have them stand facing the same way. Aim anywhere in the central torso.

I was joking.  Didn't you see the  ;) emoticon?

Maybe Pat Robertson and Bill O'Reilly could stand back-to-back but staggered so as to line up their hearts and the gun could be a .357 Magnum or a Glock .45 if it has to be a handgun, or it could even be a rifle.  A rifle would definitely be powerful enough for a bullet from it to pass through and kill them both.  Don't you remember the Nazis doing those horrific experiments to see how many people they could line up in a row and kill with a single rifle bullet?
