Right! I've had it with this Spokane bollocks. This thread is for people to wibble on about any other place on earth which isn't. fucking. Spokane. Reasons for nominating a city can be completely made up if preferred.  :eyebrows:


I'll kick off:



Masham, Yorkshire:

- has two good breweries.

- is in the scenic Yorkshire Dales National Park.

- Wallace and Gromit live quite nearby.

- was not the setting for a soppy knob-end 'quirky' romantic comedy.

By the way, Denver is a good city to live near.  Right now, I wish we lived even closer, but then we would be in a different school district.  Oh well, you can't have everything.

There is a water sculpture fountain nearby that children can play in:

Come live in Portland, Oregon. I have to admit it's better than Spokane.

The 24th largest metro area in the USA.



They provide transportation for people. Trains and buses. Their way of trying to help the congestion.


The street car they put in in 2001




Where the Blazers used to play before the new arena was built.


Parks along the river





Rose Festival they do every June
