in october i am probably going to work steady as a heavylift operator for one company....which means that i will not have to pick up a job, it will always be mine.
they will pay me for an extra hour each day and also, pay me an extra 'flex' day each week, for which i will not have to work.

next summer i will quit that job and go back to the hall, and exclusively take crane jobs.  i will work hard to be one of the best at this, and then i hope to become employed steady....because of all the perks listed above.


i will do that for several years, and then i will probably transfer to local 94, which is the formans union.


in between all of the above i will run for business agent, and maybe dispatcher.  if i can get my name out there (having won elections at both jobs) then i would really like to run for president.

generic, i know, but it is my children.  and possibly the fact that i have been able to remain married for 10 years.  who would have thought.....not i.

i have survived.   that is an accomplishment.

my sense of survival.

i can tell you that i have been seriously addicted to very bad drugs, and alcohol several times.  and i never hit rock bottom and my common sense has helped me to walk away from them all by myself, without help.
