i remember a certain episode where Spock claimed to have made a logical decision and that saved his life or some mumbojumbo, but the decision wasn't logical at all. and then i realized for the first time that Spock is
as logical as the fucking writers on the show not logical at all.
the binars survived. but there was a glitch. they kidnapped Riker with the help of Minuet, a holo chick, Riker's only weakness, well, that and his pride, but anyway, Picard came aboard by accident but in the end both Picard and Riker were needed to send the information from the ship to the binar's planet, "cuz they always work in pairs". so why did they only want to take Riker? stupid move from such so-thought-to-be smart logical creatures.
but then star trek has never had good logic. i always found Spock to be highly emotional and often illogical.
