The stupid Swedish authorities did the same to me in 1996; I was granted ½ disability payment from January 1995, because that's when I "got disabled".
If it'd been right, I'd gotten disability back to January 1989, when I became 18, since AS is for life and you can't get disability "pension" as it is called, before you're an adult. I got full disability in 1998, about the same amount of money that Richard gets now, plus a little more money for the rent. I also know a few tricks to fool the authorities a little further.
Sweden betrayed me since I was a child, but this far I've costed Sweden more than $2 million only in disability payment and study loans that I didn't have to pay back.
