Cougars are in the western part manly of the U.S. Black Bears in the eastern part of the U.S.; Grizzly Bears in Alaska and in isolated parts of the west like Yellowstone National Park. Wolves are in Yellowstone, as well but nowhere else in the U.S., cause they have been hunted out of the rest of the U.S..

Actually some wolves live in Colorado too, as well as black bears and mountain lions (cougars).

I think that you are correct, Kevv.  There are some Mexican Gray Wolves south of I-70 and some gray wolves that were relocated from Yellowstone north of I-70, I believe.

Not to be pedantic, but, there are black bears in the western USA.  They do better than grizzlies because they're more afraid of man and will eat anything and are smaller than their grizzly cousins.

Grizzly bears live in Alaska, as well as Kodiak bears.

A Kodiak is a grizzly is a brown bear. The names refer to where they live. There's no scientific consensus on whether or not they're a sub-species.

There are deadly and poisonous things, but they aren't everywhere...a stingray piercing your heart and killing you is a unbelievable fluke.  I've never seen a stingray whilst swimming in the ocean, or a shark for that matter...and I've lived on surf beaches for 10 years of my life in my early twenties.  I did see dolphins often and was metres away from them several times however.

I've only seen deadly spiders, but they are slow moving, and I've never been bothered by spiders.

I've seen a snake twice....and I fucking hate, HATE snakes.  But that is it and neither were deadly.

I'd say the gun totin' crazies you have in the US are much more scarier than any shit we got going on down here...and let's face it, we were primarily colonised by Europeans...if the shit we have here was that deadly, they would have run their sorry pink asses away!
