Yeah, that was a pretty lame attempt at turning the title of the thread into some kind of come on lol.

Do you prefer to sing somewhere?   People supposedly sing in the shower.  That is something that I do not do actually.   I have been caught singing in the car while listening to music, and that is embarrassing to say the least.

i do that, but i can't be bothered being embarrassed.

my favourite place to sing is in front of an audience, and outside, bizarrely.  i seem to sing better with some sort of performance anxiety going on, and outside means i can let rip, although if i'm somewhere with great acoustics, that can do as well.

Are you ever nervous about speaking in front of an audience?
I sort of want to know how you deal/have dealt with that kind of thing since I will be doing this in future.

yes and no.  i get performance anxiety (i.e. stage fright) the same as anyone else, but i love performing, so that overcomes the stage fright.  i get into a roll if i get a good response, and then there's no stopping me.

if you get really het up and stressed before the event, i have some excellent yoga breathing techniques, i can give you.

I don't get nervous at things that I see others get nervous at, like tests for example. I just think if I don't know something, there is nothing I can do about it.

that's a great attitude to have, and one that i generally reach after several aeons of panicking, at which point, the "oh, fuck it" module comes into play.

blimey.  erm... hundreds, definitely.  possibly even thousands, cos i've performed or given speeches in big venues.

This makes me wonder if some people are nervous every time before a speech no matter how many times they do it. While others may not be bothered by it any time.
