I'm selfish somewhat.
Also, I am NOT selfish. AT all. You have absolutley no ways to back that statement up. Why? Because I'm not selfish.
I always wonder if people who make claims like this have a different
concept of the word than I do. Selfishness, to me, is doing things
for one's own purposes. For example, because you want to, or enjoy
doing them. To say that one is not selfish would mean that they are
purposefully thwarting their own needs and desires - without any gain.
Now, I do this, and consider it the worst thing that a person can do. For
example, posting on the internet is (usually) an unselfish act - as I know that
there are things which are better for me to do. But, there's nothing noble
about making oneself feel miserable for no reason.
