I think that Randy has had a tough life, but at some point he has to make his life better for himself even though he has had bad role models for parents.  I know it's difficult, but he really needs to find a job even if it is not his dream job so he can make some money and dig himself out of the hole he's in.

I wonder if chemical castration would help them not be sexually attracted to children?  If it did, then maybe they could be helped, assuming they took the medication on the correct schedule.  Otherwise, how could they be helped, other than keeping them away from potential victims?
