Crystal meth is THE drug for this.  You can display psychotic symptoms using any drug from alcohol to coffee, but amphetamines are THE drug for permenant psychosis.

Something which led quickly to catatonia
would be more promising, but I still couldn't
assure myself of control or a better reality.
