"In the Nightside Eclipse" by Emperor is pretty good album. Despite the shitty vocals, the music helps to create an atmosphere of evil and darkness. A must have for those who are starting to take a genuine interest in Black Metal like I have done recently.

Well I would think that is what is in your avatar.   I might have to pick it up.   Is it blackmetal or did he keep getting more progressive?   Ihsahn was DJing techno also, which is what Satyr was doing a while ago as well.   That could influence his sound as well.

That song is pretty good.  Sounds like Promethus somewhat.   He is back with the King Diamondish vocals, not a whole lot of actual singing though.   That is a nice purposefully off time riff there as well.    Lots of vibrato + pinch harmonics in his more melodic guitar riffs along with the keyboards as usual.

Most of the pics are loading as red Xs.    My favourite Slayer CD is either Reign in Blood, South of Heaven, or Seasons in the Abyss.   Really I like most of their shit, even the new stuff which is pretty badass as well.    I like Reign in Blood the most probably.    I like Nemesis Divina the most out of Satyricon's CDs.   I need to get some more Dark Tranquility to along with the At the Gates and In Flames that I have (all of both bands actually).   Maybe pick up some of the more recent Hypocrisy and Therion.    I hear Carcass might be getting back together but without Bill Steer (Michael Amott might have to take a break from Arch Enemy, no clue who the other guitarist is going to be).   Damn you Bill Steer.
