Actually, drunks have been freed in court here after driving drunk hundreds of miles, because they claimed depression and stuff. I'm not kidding, unfortunately. One guy in my home town drove without a license, but the cops let him drive home after having a promise from him that he wouldn't use the car before he got himself a new license. He drove again the next day...but an illegal gun would most probably put you in jail. Sweden is very weird on which laws it's cosidered "bad" to break and which it's not.
