I pretty much leave the more capable people alone - I figure I can't really do much for them; anyone can tell them that what they need to do, but none can really reach them. I know because that's like me.
Incidentally, this was part of my reasoning here. But I was operating on the assumption you wanted to solve the problem for good, not just patch it well enough to deal with whatever's currently going wrong IRL.
Disagree that none can really reach all capable people, just some of them.
I solved it on my own for 12 years. Then things got too WRONG.
I'm trying to find another crutch/life - whatever you want to call it.
And just chatting does help, I think. But the biggest thing for me is
doing what I enjoy - which happens to be productive - rather than
trying to make myself miserable through my addictions.
