I'm too much of a chameleon
for my own good. I tend to
just take on the persona of
those that I'm around.

Well, except for bestiality comments.
I make them all the time.

You are supposed to.  You are supposed to take on aspects of the behaviors and mannerisms of the social group you are in.  The lack of ability to do this is part of the ASD conditions.
And as always, these are simply my worthless opinions.
Reverence is fine, Sanctity is silly.
We're all fucked, it helps to remember that.

I don't know. There are things
that I feel I should stick up for
that I don't always. Though I
did get in a fight with a drunk
once for him complaining about
'niggers.' My rebel hat seems to
attract those kind of people.

fighting for your beliefs is good.

being told what to believe is bad.

same thing with being told how to act.
Misunderstood.

Ditto here.

Yes, but how do you know where to delineate between just trying to get along with people and losing something you have gained from exploring your own independence?

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

That "social competency" shit is merely an excuse to bully those who don't fit in.

There is also the big NT / AS divide in there.
Like every behaviour they have is to do with AS.
If people give them shit, it is because they are NTs.
It's a load of bollocks.

Don't get me wrong, i am a misanthropist.
Stick me in a room full of NTs and i am not going to be happy.
They could be nice people, but it's not going to happen. Not their fault.
Stick me in a room full of Aspies.
I'm not going to have a room full of new friends and start playing twister.

lol “non aspes” generally annoy me or bore me (very pasave feelings). but aspies there is not much middle ground some times we are good friends very fast but more often I want to beet them to a pulp soon after meeting them its usualy fast and hot whaterver i feel

Most of them don’t realize there being bullies. Different just scare most people and they attack out of fear.
I have never understood why it should be necessity to become irrational in order to prove that you care, or indeed why it should be necessity to prove it at all - Avon

But, I thought we were tallking about wanting to fit in. No one can bully me if I want something. They may change my course, but I won't stop, until I decide.

I pretty much leave the more capable people alone - I figure I can't really do much for them; anyone can tell them that what they need to do, but none can really reach them. I know because that's like me.

Incidentally, this was part of my reasoning here. But I was operating on the assumption you wanted to solve the problem for good, not just patch it well enough to deal with whatever's currently going wrong IRL.

Disagree that none can really reach all capable people, just some of them.

I solved it on my own for 12 years. Then things got too WRONG.
I'm trying to find another crutch/life - whatever you want to call it.

And just chatting does help, I think. But the biggest thing for me is
doing what I enjoy - which happens to be productive - rather than
trying to make myself miserable through my addictions.

I have a tendency to take on people's mannerisms and accent if I'm around them a lot.
