I wonder if this will utterly ruin her, emotionally?  If it doesn't, there's something already quite fucked up, I think.  That sounds rather crueler than I want it to, but I'm honestly rather disgusted.

These stories are usually taken out of the context of their lives.  I doubt a sane, productive, healthy, friendly person with a good job, and a fine reputation one day says, "I think i'll get in a car crash with my baby, and go on a 25 mile car chase at 110 miles an hour today."  But it would be really funny if somebody DID do that.  In a very sick way.
