do you think that honour is tied to the ability to tell the truth. or is akin to NOT lying?
I've always believed in telling the truth.
Though, once I saw that as closer to what
you would consider "NOT lying," carefully
constructing my words in a way so as to
avoid giving the appearence of the real
meaning.
I've changed over the years, to believe that
one must do more than this, and actually attempt
to make others understand what I actually mean.
Though, my delving into those who would have been
burned for their beliefs (literally), has probably not
made me much clearer. But I try.
I don't feel that some sort of full disclosure
of all facts is necessary, not even now. There
are some things which one must reserve, for
various reasons.
Nonetheless, I try to give as accurate a portrait
of my flaws as I can. For this, I get accused of
being 'emo'. I'll take that criticism.
