So, have you come to outpost me and reclaim your supremacy?  :zoinks:

Highly unlikely. Just feeling a bit spammy.

Yep. Dunno twitch - sounds like a lighter modern game. I tend to the heavier side
of the hobby (mainly wargames actually), though I do enjoy some of the light euros.

Dunno what happened really. Spamming hard was like an addiction. I got a big rush off
it, but now it seems mostly gone. I dip in now and then (over important stuff - like debating
definitions), but with my main obsession back in my life (gaming) it's tough to justify.

As far as I can explain it, Twitch is an internet channel.  Members play games like Dead Souls 2, Saboteur, Postal, etc. on-line in real time.  If you follow the player you can watch the game and interact with other viewers and the player via chat.  Evidently the player pays a fee for playing, but viewing is free.

Ah. Weird.

I got back into the boardgaming via a site buttcoffee suggested. Saw a modern euro that was very good online,
and ended up buying a physical copy.

As someone who, at least used to, smoke a pipe do you know much about vintage ones?  I have looked stuff up but it's hard to pin down just how interested people are in them

I tended to pick them up because they were cheaper than new ones.

Unless it's something really special, my guess is it ain't worth anything.

Look on ebay, parts. Some of those old pipes are selling for decent cash.

Yeah. My concept of prices predates ebay for the most part.

Bought a nice Calabash (the Holmes type) for about 30 - which was extreme for me.
My dad got me a silver-filigreed pipe with an amber stem for a buck or so around then.
But, all collectibles have been inflated with the market coming together.

I do but I also like to ask people who know more about the stuff than I do if I can, it gives you a more compete picture
