Oh, a robin isn't the same thing in Europe as in America. A robin here is a small bird with a red breast, while a robin in America is a thrush.

It's a thrush bird. But to be very precise, a European robin is also a thrush bird, but much smaller than the usual ones. A blackbird is also a thrush bird, for example.

European robin=Erithacus Rubecula. American robin=Turdus migratorius. "Turdus" is Latin for "thrush". See, I'm right, as usual.
