Never heard of one. It's a stellar's jay. One of the reasons that I'm in Oregon.

Bitchy damned birds. Very pretty though.

Calendale?

OK. Wipe your feet.
Jimi Hendrix: When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

Not fond of robins myself. They sing at stupid times, suck down worms, and cluck like hens.

Oh, a robin isn't the same thing in Europe as in America. A robin here is a small bird with a red breast, while a robin in America is a thrush.

???  Our robins have red breasts too. Maybe a little larger though.

Eh? I'm here openly. Nothing sneaky about it.

Not sure what kind of harm you think I could do anyway.
Report that people are a bit rude here? That they don't
like some other people? I think that this is all known.

EDIT: whoops - didn't see the pic (was writing my post at the time - and the other forum that uses this bbs that I'm on shows the pics in that mode.

Ask the Brits which bird they call a robin.  ;)

This is what I call a robin.  I don't believe it is a thrush.

Apparently this is what the Europeans call a robin:

This is a thrush:

It's a thrush bird. But to be very precise, a European robin is also a thrush bird, but much smaller than the usual ones. A blackbird is also a thrush bird, for example.

European robin=Erithacus Rubecula. American robin=Turdus migratorius. "Turdus" is Latin for "thrush". See, I'm right, as usual.  8)
