If you told that, due to some impossible legal loophole, you could do absolutely anything you wanted to do with no legal reprecussions during a set 24-hour period, what would you do during that time?  If you killed someone, no jail.  Same with assulting someone, except that person still might kick your ass if you didn't beat them down first.  If you robbed a bank, you'd get to keep the money (assuming you managed to make the robbery work out properly).  What you did would not be on your legal record later, and it could not be used against you in future legal battles.

For my part, I would consider beating the shit out of the car of a guy who's been really, really horrible to one of my friends.  He loves that car, it's a money pit, and fucking it up would fuck him up. 

I probably wouldn't even do that though, in all honesty.
