Looks like they are going to change every crossing at this side of the village into a traffic island. It's a nuisance for a postie.

Waste of money too I think. Why not see where traffic needs to be slowed down, and leave the rest as it is. There's no speeding in this street, and if they only would change the sneaky truck-route by traffic-islands, and the crossings close to the schools, it would be safe enough.

Villagers already had made their own safety arrangements in the streets close to the schools. Officially it is two way traffic, but, in effect, it is a one way street, and that is announced effectively enough to really work too.

Lot of developments in the field of macular degeneration. Treatment of my mother seems to change every year. One eye beyond saving, other is stable, and good enough for her to still drive a car.

Well, I just want to quick bitch about a 50x50cm concrete tile in the garden I tried to level with the rest of the tiles by lifting the heavy sucker first, putting more sand under it and laying it back but when I started hammering on it with a rubber hammer to level it properly the bastard broke into 3 pieces. Bugger, cos I have no replacement for it.
