I remember having an eye twitch for months off and on, drove me crazy.

No it was a flashing curve line which was restricting my view. I could see around it but not where the flashing line was. The line was like when you look into a light and then look away, only flashing

That's the aura before a migraine attack. Some people only ever get the aura but others get the added bonus of a full-blown attack with a headache.

Yeah if you get a headache later don't be surprised. I just get the migraine with no aura. My mum gets the auras and she drew it for me what she sees and it sounds as if it is the same as what you describe, Soph. Have you had it before?

I sometimes get the aura before the headache, but mostly I simply feel a bit off and nauseous before. It's a very odd feeling, but unmistakable.

I have codeine/cocodamol I think and just ordinary ibuprofen/nurofen

Interesting. Thanks. Have never known anyone else to describe it. Never had a problem with headaches though. Have posted about it a couple of times.

Was thinking of something interesting the other evening, but not somehting able to put into words. Thought about it so hard, it became like a retinal burn and could still see the white light of it with eyes closed. Can't remember exactly now, should have sketched it while in the moment.

I did indeed see the Union Jack in its true colors! Do I win a free trip to England?  

I had things like that happening a lot yesterday and the day before.
Can be very annoying just walking the streets, getting after-images pasted on what is there, all the time.

Do you think you see afterimages more than most people do?  

When tired, or with a migrainy head, yes, I think I see them a lot more. They are quite common for me. Yesterday I had them really a lot. Shiny things make it happen more btw. But, it is not just shiny things. The after image is always in negative colours compared to the original.

On occasion it happens to me with thoughts, more like a retinal burn though like after looking at a bright light.
