I used to wear earplugs when I worked at a place with loud machinery. Can't imagine wearing them to sleep though. I like to hear what is going on. I can hear that the neighbours are outside. They are probably peeved about the frogs too.

The frogs we have are not as cute as that. They are brown with spots. And they squeal horribly when handled.

I remember when I was at work one time I accidentally dropped a pallet on a frog and it screamed. Ew.

Did you put it out of its misery via your boot?

No, I just dropped the pallet on it again. Felt awful about doing it.

You shouldn't Ren at all. It was an accident. I similarly one time chased a cat off a bird hoping the bird was not so hurt. It was really badly hurt but very much alive. I finished it off quickly and it was not exactly fun but preferably to it dying in slow and excruciating agony or leaving it for the cat to come back to

 Is it normal for the lung problems to be going on this long after the illness?  Can more be done?   

the doctors say it won't improve much until the stress decreases. I'm stuck in a crappy cycle. The stress is causing my white blood cell count to be way too high (low to mid 20's) when it should be between 4-10. So until that changes (and that is happening due to stress) nothing much will change. Ex needs to move out basically.

Thank you Yes, callaway quoted correctly. Her stories of Little House on the Prairie were accounts of her real life. She was a tough broad. adventurous in spirit and didn't let anything take her down without a fight.
