There's black fluff now stuck to the sore bits on my arms. They stung like mad when I was in the shower.

I am really pissed off about this, it will take ages to heal. I have to wear long sleeves because it looks gross.

I recommend antibiotic ointment and bandages so no more lint gets in the wounds!

I think I will ask my mum tomorrow about some stuff to put on (too late now, she has gone out for tea and won't be back until late tonight). Not sure about bandages, though, bandaids should be enough. The ones I had on yesterday kept unsticking.

Oh, I meant Band-Aid type bandages, not big gauzy things. I hope you heal soon.

^Thanks. It is supposed to be only the first layer of skin it affected so it shouldn't take too long to heal but then again I have had burns before that have looked similar and taken longer. Guess I will just have to wait and see. I go back for the third part of the experiment in two weeks' time so I hope I have healed by then.

My own right palm is just now getting back to normal after an outbreak of (apparently) dyshidrotic eczema, which I mistook for warts
and treated with Compound W, which caused blistering and irritation. Your poor skin, I wish it a speedy recovery!

My PMS irritability is really uncomfortable this month. Thank god for a controlling upbringing
that taught me to rage in my imagination rather than getting aggressive with other people! 


Though I must admit, a week or so ago, feeling overwhelmed by all the dishes piling in and the constant (and unavoidable)
intrusions into my work space, I did throw a metal bowl partway across the room. Oooooo hardcore!

Was up until 0230 doing my daughter's science homework on wastewater treatment. Her teachers rarely teach material and often give homework that is not from the textbook so you have to look it up on the interwebs. In this case the teacher was misinformed and the information was not where she said it would be. I spent hours googling stuff and it didn't help that some of the answers were ambiguous and that her mother got almost all the ones she helped her with wrong. It was a crossword puzzle, so wrong answers make you look for something that fits with wrong letters. Most of the ones her mother got wrong or didn't answer were actually the easy ones. And she has a master's in biology.
