I usually cut my hair myself. I can trim the ends and cut a row of bangs, but face-framing layers are beyond my level of skill!

Don't blame you one bit. I've been seeing the same stylist since 2001 and I won't go see anyone else. Although I asked for her cell phone number so that if she changed salons I could find out where she went. Good thing because she did change locations a few years ago and I followed her!

My girlfriend's husband delays his haircuts until he is in town.  He will only go to this one stylist and has been going to her for about 10 years.  He works about 400 miles away and is only home about 5 or 6 times a year, but will only get his hair cut by this one stylist.

Actually, if I worked 400 miles away from home and only saw my spouse 5 or 6 times a year, I would get the haircut wherever
and from whomever so I could save my little bit of time at home for... *Shatner pause* ...other things.

Also had the same woman for years. She was an older lady and told me when she was leaving; she said her husband wanted her to retire. Have been seeing the other woman for about the last year. There's several new people there now though. Younger girls with crazy hair that looks like they let me cut it.
