I have had a few scary, unpleasant dreams in my time, but never anything I would call a *nightmare.* I never woke up screaming as a child.

My aunt lost the sight in one of her eyes as a child (ran into a Spanish Dagger plant, big saber shaped leaf cactus) and was a professional seamstress.  But I'm not aware that she was colorblind.  BTW she finally mustered the courage to learn to drive in her early 60's.
