I'm trying to do some sound recording, but I'm having a difficult time finding a time that's quiet. The neighbours are vacuuming and shifting furniture around at the moment, there's a fair bit of traffic rumbling past and the workmen from the gas company will probably arrive soon and continue digging up the street like they've been doing for the past fortnight. At other times, there's noise from kids screaming, dogs and foxes barking, lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, mum and her partner being generally noisy and drunk people screaming and shouting as they walk past.
