The Jag was sold right under my nose, about 30 minutes before I got hold of the sales guy. Fuck!

I'm really sorry to hear that.  

What irks me is that I had made up my mind after a couple of days' worth of doubt. I was prepared to buy it and I had the money and everything ready.

I'm probably going to buy another Jag somewhere. Any other car now will feel wrong.

Exactly, once you have your mind made up, it's hard to change it. I hope you find a good one.  

The whole thing was so unexpected. While I've always thought Jaguars are cool and I know I would have wanted one at some point anyway, I wasn't there to test drive a Jag. I was just going for a replacement for my trusty old Volvo.

Elderberries everywhere.

Imagine three jumpy girls, age 9/10, having a ball with elderberries. All three girls of the act before you think type...

Are they all blue now? 

All covered in dark red, going everywhere in my house. I found red in my fridge, my freezer, my sugarpot, my cupboard, the floor of the kitchen, the floor of the livingroom. And outside the pavement and gardentable was nothing but crushed berries and some sugar topping it too. Wasps investigating their version of heaven and my version of hell.

According to the girls, I was quite a grumpy Mum. Especially when they chose not to hear me when I wanted them to clean the mess up.

Time to get out... the hose! 

Was tempted, but used a huge watering can, and lots of detergent.
I was so grossed out, that I even bought chlorine detergent, had not used that in 20 years. But it had gotten really on my nerves.

Hose would mean getting the tap of the sink, to be able to attach it, and getting the hose from behind stuff, too much work. Huge watering can and broom were better.

But the hose would have been so mean! 

I fear they would have loved it. 

Oh, forget that then! That would only encourage them to do it again!

Just received a bill from the urgent care center for my daughter for the balance of a July 10, 2007, visit.  The amount seems right, but

a) She's been there a few times since then without them showing a balance
b) I may have already paid it
c) It may be past the legal collection date
d) If I don't pay it they may choose not to see her again.

I guess a phone call is in order.
