Itis pissing down and I am absolutely drenched. Hope it stops before I walk thedog to the vets. This is gonna be the second time in a week I've been to the vets. It's easier with dogs though  I think. You can't explain to them obviously but you can help calm them down and help them relax. With cats they just stress the fuck out if they're scared. Ifeel useless taking a cat to the vets. With my dog I know she'll be fine even if she doesn't really like it. She knows what's going on

Lost my grip on a kitchen knife as I was pulling it out of the knife block and ended up stabbing myself in the palm of my right hand.  It doesn't seem to have damaged anything important, fortunately.

OUCH. Are you going to get it cleaned out and stitched by a doctor?

My father had a small vegetable garden many years ago. Garden tomatoes and cucumbers are the best!

No, I think it'll heal up on it's own; it was a slender fillet knife, so it's quite a small wound, though it's fairly deep.  I think the tip was stopped by my third metacarpal.
