Got two men at my door this morning, just before I was about to leave for my rounds.
Apparently they had an appointment to fix my gutter/rain-pipe. I was not aware of this. Something had gone wrong in communication.
The damage was more than they hoped for.
So, they dug up a lot outside, and had to be under the floor in my house too.

Maybe it is good I did not know in advance. Did not give me the chance to dread it happening.

They will be back somewhere next week, for the finishing touch outside.

I am not angry or hurt by your response.  I was in a hurry and didn't take the time to think fully through my choice of words.  I apologize for using words that were misinterpreted.  I meant no insult or hurt.

What I have gotten from your posts is that you are very passionate about your beliefs, interests, abilities and family.  And these are things that you should be proud of and passionate about.  It was meant as a compliment that you do not suffer fools gladly.  In my hurry to post I didn't stop to fully consider my words.

I enjoy the give and take between the members of this group.  Would it be simpler for our internet relationship if, when I post something to you on the public pages that I add either "just kidding" or "kudos" or something similar so we can avoid these misunderstandings?
