He needs to be made aware of how creepy that lurking about actually is.

Indeed.

I've called him out on it repeatedly. My favourite is to keep talking to the kids, but then whip open their bedroom door and catch him in the act, say "Stop eavesdropping" then shut the door again. The look of shock on his face is priceless.

lurk back.

Can't be arsed. Plus, the fallout of me doing something like that would be bad. He loves the double standard, okay for him to do, a crime if anyone else does it.

Catching him isn't enough. Tell him with a concerned yet slightly disgusted expression, that lurking and eavesdropping are really creepy things to do.

True. I'll give that a shot next go around.

Is it September yet? If not, I'll settle for bedtime. I'm not very picky at the moment. :P

Your energy comes first, then acting on the ex. I would love see him whining and grovelling apologies and all, but your energy comes first.
Best thing would be a court order to get him out, but that would have no meaning if it would bring you down.

He will still live with Celticgoddess and the kids until September?

63 days, then it is September.
9 weeks for him to find a place.

Why am I so suspicious that he will have found new reasons to stay after that?

Hyke - that's true. Unfortunately a court order to get him out is extremely difficult and by the time i even got to court, for the first hearing, he would have been out long ago on his own. It's extremely rare here for a judge to evict a spouse. My lawyer and I talked about that from the start. So it's to my benefit that I play along, get everything signed, then he moves out on his own.

Callaway - He has been telling me/the doctors that his goal is September. But that means that all the paperwork for the separation agreement needs to be signed and we still have to do finances and property division.

That's exactly what I thought as well.

I know. I'm not getting my hopes up for September but I do think he wants out. He just won't do it until he has a signed agreement. That's the business schmuck side of him.

But considering he's told monkeyboys autism doctor how serious he is about Sept, that doctor will call him out on it if he drags his feet. I think his Mum would too. She thinks it's unhealthy to be the way we are right now.

I've heard the "in three months I'll be gone" for over two and a half years. In retrospect, I would have gone for the court orders. Didn't do it then, because it would be so time and energy consuming.

Family court in my province is backlogged by 2 years.

I hope that the pressure of the doctor and his Mum will help here.
