One of the steel struts in the opening mechanism for the garage door has snapped and another part has gotten bent.  I'm going to see what I can do to fix it.

My door uses a couple of extension springs, but I wouldn't like to mess with them either.

I had garage door issues about three weeks ago.  The spring that counterbalances the weight of the door broke. I had to really strain to lift the double-wide door.

I spent about two minutes assessing the situation and called a professional. Fuck dealing with those springs!
